Ongoing portraits of friends; artists, models, musicians. These portraits were all made between 1981 - 2024.
In all cases, portraits were made with natural available light. I've found that all the equipment, assistants, crew, all distract from finding the still
point that I'm most comfortable with in making pictures.
I've heard from some subjects that what I captured "wasn't really them." I'm ok with that.
