Robert found a love for the solitude of photographing nature in the 1970's. He would spend hours walking through the Nicolet National Forest, about 10 minutes from the family vacation home in Northern Wisconsin. Carrying a medium format camera, a few lenses and a great deal of film, he would search out places and things that interested him. Some of the results are below.
A reflection of a branch in still water
A birch forest in fall.
A boat on a still lake.
A plow abandoned in a field.
A lone tree in a fueld.
A post sticking out of a pond.
An abandoned record player in a field.
Leaves in a tide pool.
Log cabin barn in woods
