I received several Grants from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, to report on Housing Issues in Chicago. I focused on homelessness and decided to dig deep into that world. I followed people from the public streets, where they hustle, to where they slept. Followed them into their encampments and photographically documented how they lived their lives. I built trust over a long period of time and walked hundreds of miles, exploring a world I knew nothing much about, when I started this journey. I’m still learning, but now, after eight years, I’ve learned a little something about people that are without a home.
