I took these pictures in 1969, a long time ago any way you figure .I’ve been surprised how they have retained people’s interest over the years. So much so, that Robert Schaffner and I produced a book, containing 160 of them in 2022. Which was good for many of the people who purchased the records and used magnifying glasses to see the performers and the equipment they were using. Peter Green, of course, used his famous “Greeny” guitar, a 1959 Gibson Les Paul.
Sadly, many of the musicians and other participants are gone now, but Mike Vernon and Marshall Chess are still in the record business, and some of the Mac guys continue on also.
If you are interested in seeing more of this session, may I recommend our book, “Fleetwood Mac in Chicago,” available at Amazon and all the usual places.
